Wanting his own customized backpack, Elias started Lemolo Baggage in his Portland apartment  in 2006.  Using the sewing skills he picked up from his mother and grandfather, Elias began constructing hand-made waterproof bags by special order.  As demand grew, so did Lemolo, and today this small company boasts a full line including high-quality backpacks and duffel bags.  Elias now works out of his studio in Portland, Oregon, alongside his trusty canine companion, Louis.
